Northern Boaters never give up

Happy New Year, guys!

We chose to visit our island cottage on the St. Lawrence River on Dec. 29-30. It started as just a chilly overnighter and open water on The River. Weather was forcasted as a low of 29 and cloudy skies and a high of 37. Close enough...

By 9PM it was 8 degrees. The 3 AM check of the boat found an inch of snow and The River frozen over the mile back to the launch ramp. We left at 8am and broke about a mile of 3/4" ice with the Triumph's polypropylene hull. I highly recommend the Yamaha 150 4 stroke for flawless cold water performance.

Otto, Happy New Year! And I thought Part I and myself were NUTS! Now I feel OBLIGATED to put you on fish this April. Better start praying to the Cobia Gods! And I was impressed the windows of my house were opened since Friday. YOU TAKE THE CAKE! Happy and Healthy, my friend. Parts I and II.

Too much, We spent of New Years Eve out on Tampa Bay, it was like a mirror all night inspite of a the forcast of 10-15. Even I was amazed at how crazy nice it was on 12/31, would stayed out longer but we didn't think we would be that long and the Bourbon ran out

Mark,

That's the best comment so far. Having a little trouble with the autofocus with the snow flying...
