Changing out electrical switches

I've got an 1987 18'sf and I would like to change out the switches on the electrical panel. Does anyone have any preference to brands or styles?

Re: Changing out electrical switches

I changed the original switches and fuses on my 20ft SeaFari to the more up to date waterproof rocker switches and breakers. It wasn't the cheapest way to go but it sure looks nice and very functional. I replaced the entire wood panel where my steering wheel and old school toggle switches where mounted, with a fiberglass panel about a 1/4" thick and painted it to match. I had cut outs for all six rocker switches and breakers, installed the hardware, and rewired everything. I considered buying a pre-fabed switch panel but it was more expensive and less custom. Good luck!
