Bow Cushions
 

I have a 23 seacraft that needs new bow cushions. Is there anybody out there that you guys recommend? How much do these generally cost?

Depending on where you live, all towns have upholstery shops. Most auto shops will do this type of marine.
I paid about $150. for leaning post, and console seat.

5 new cushions for my Seafari, 3 cabin V-berth cushions and two transom seat cushions, cost me $360 3 years ago.

I think I spent about $200 just on foam and fabric to make the cushions in the cabin of our Tsunami. Shops around me would want near $750 to do it from scratch. It's much cheaper if you're just recovering your old ones or even if you can give those to the guy as a template.

Anyone have input on the different foams available ?

I have my old (1975) ones for my 23' Tsunami and was thinking of either re-using them or using them as a template and buying nicer, newer foam. Is there a foam that is more dense and not as 'smooshy' ?

hey Abll- how gozitdude? there is a nice firm "closed cell" foam that I have used occasionally but it is high dollar !you local upholstery shop should be able to sell you some

Thx. I am trying to get a small-time, talented Jamaican dude to do the sewing and I supply the "stuff" :)... So, I need to know where to get the 'good stuff', man... Aahh -- cracking myself up...
