You will need some grabs rails though, just doesn't need to be the bow rail.

I had the low profile rails on my 20' when I first got it and ended up taking them off. I've been quite happy without rails at all. The t-top legs offer plenty to hang onto if things get bumpy.

hmmm, im leaning toward leaving it as it is now...i dont think they look bad, and they shouldnt get to much in the way of things should they>?

That depends entirely on how you plan to use your boat. If people fish, esp fly fish, from the bow they tend to break rods by letting them touch the rail on a good fish.

Boat fishes better without rail. T top is plenty to hang on to.
