Fiberglass Mold Help

I want to build a small fishbox for my 18' inshore boat. It will be about 12" x 30" and 14" tall. Does not need to be real complex and will not be a permanent part of the boat. What I had in mind was an insulated box with a hatch in the top. Should I build a mold for the inner, outer and top pieces and if so, what materials/advice would the experts use. I used the search function, but did not find what I need. Thanks in advance.

I've never built one but it seems like you will need 3 parts like you alluded. They sell insulation sheets that you can use to line the inside or you can use foam I don't know what type of foam works best. If you use foam make sure you pour the foam before you put on the top piece of the part. It likes to buckle fiberglass. My 23 seacraft came with a bench seat/fish box. It had a rotating back rest. Sorry I'm not much help.
