mid 80's 23 walk a round cuddy

I am trying to find out if seacraft made a walk a round cuddy in the 80's. I think that is what I used own and would like to find another one. 23' I think. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure as some models weren't produced when the company was sold a couple times in the 80's. My Master Angler was never produced after the first sale to CSY for example, they were making 23's. I'm not sure how many were built at all, that may be a hard find.

Are you sure it wasn't a Mako?

Yes, in the mid - late 80's, whoever it was that owned SeaCraft did have a true Walk-Around cuddy version of the 23. I have seen them, from time to time, on the boat sale pages - there is an '87 currently listed on Boattrader.com.

Study the transom picture closely and you will see that it is the Variable Deadrise Hull design, hallmark of a true SeaCraft.

I have one. It's a 23ft hul and just like the one shown. I hate the huge open transom. Mine has a wooden fold down door to keep the waves out. It's a 1987 I think.
But once in a while you will see them for sale.

Brian, thanks for the great pictures. That helps me a lot with how I want to make my hardtop.
