Awlgrip question

Hello all, I’ve been a member for a little over a year now and, haven’t really posted much, But I have learned a lot in this time. I also want to apologize in advance if this isn’t an appropriate question for this forum. That being said I have a 1986 23 CC it has a very dark blue awlgrip finish. The finish is about ten years old. What is the best wax to use on a dark awlgrip finish? Also the gel coat in the interior has unfortunately been pretty much neglected by me and the previous owner, could anybody recommend a good compound and wax combination to get it back to full potential? Thanks

Re: Awlgrip question

If you read the Awlgrip manuel it says do not wax awlgrip you will be better off buffing it, if it is faded, wax realy does not bring shine back just keeps it up the compound to use is 3M perfect-it 3 with a high speed buffer , and for your weathered gelcoat use 3M Supper duty rubbing compound you will get profesional results Good luck,Jose
