Navman Fuel Monitor

Two years ago I bought a Navman 2100 for my Seabird but never installed it. I'm getting ready to put it in and noticed the directions recommend a 30 micron water seperator for optimum performance. With the introduction of E-10 fuel, is anyone running one of these with a 10 micron filter? Any issues?

I've had mine installed for a year with a 10 micron filter and no issues. The small flow element (tiny turbine wheel) will stop working if any foreign material gets past your filter - so the finer the filter the better.
