Prop Recomendation

I recently purchased a 2002 20' Master Angler w/ the coffin box and T-Top. It is powered by a 150hp Optimax. The engine checks out mechanically and eletronically, bottom is clean, but I am only turning up to 5000rpm. with a mirage prop, although the cruise @3850 is 29.3kts. Any opinions.

You need to go down about 4" of pitch, your motor will thank you and your fuel bill will be much better. That motor will live a lot longer if it turns within <100-200 r.p.m. of recommended red line.

Absolutely true. You're much better off with a prop that turns 200 rpm high when the boat is empty. You'll still get great cruise performance, and your motor won't be straining as hard to achieve it.
