Re: 130hp Yamaha

Strick,I think I am going to put a 115 optimax on it only because I get them on the Mercury program. As you know the 130 was plenty of hp,so I think I should still be fine with the 115.I am redoing the whole boat first though.

Re: 130hp Yamaha

That would be a nice combo for that boat. It was plenty fast with the 130. I cant remember anything that needed to be done to your skiff....it looked immaculate when I was on it. Have you guys been working on the Carolina boat? I'm glad Lisa got to see that boat. Now she realizes that there are guys crazier then me out there :D We really miss the Keys.

Re: 130hp Yamaha

I am so glad you guys enjoyed yourselves, again I wish the bite was better for you all.Yeah we've been grinding and fairing on her. Both sides have been faired and ready for primer, the inside has been epoxied and ready for paint as well.We took her off the trailer and put her on jack stands so the bottom can be faired next.Lots of work as you know!My skiff just needs some filling and fairing here and there and I want to get rid of some of the 22 years of wires and grit under the hatches,so while the moter is off I may as well clean her up and throw a coat of AwlGrip on her.
