Armstrong Positive Floatation Outboard Brackets

Has anyone installed one of these on your boat. I am looking at installing one on my 1976 sf 18. Also if you have is it very difficult to install, also what is the cost of one of these.

I am "in the process" of installing one on a 23' Sceptre. They cost between 2500 and 3k, new. I would look at your transom very closely before putting one on. These boats were not originally designed to have a bracket, and after 20 or so years, it might be weakened by time, water, and stress. Just drilling the holes and rigging isn't a big deal, but rebuilding a transom can run to 1-2k dollars.
