KIDS + SUMMER = SLOW PROGRESS

I'm still out here. We've actually been working pretty hard on the new console. I'll get off my butt and post some pictures soon. Hatches are faired and the inside is ready for paint.

OK Strick, here we go. Interior is ready for finish primer.

Here are some console pictures I have to this point. We're actually a little further along.

The seat hinges up to allow access to the battery boxes and the interior of the console.

The cutout is for a bank of tackle storage drawers.

Drawers are fabricated and coated with epoxy.

Thanks Bob I needed that :) Looking great btw. Are the two holes above the starboard scupper rod holders? I like the low profile of the CC. Are you putting gas shocks in that seat hinge? These projects take forever. Have you decided on power yet?

The two holes are rod holders. I epoxied tubes to the back side of the forward transom wall. They are actually perforated for ventilation (hadn't been done yet when I took this picture).

The console seat is not that heavy and rolls up pretty easily. I may just place some sort of fold away support that I can use when I'm working inside.

I'm still laboring over power. I have already heard of a few of the 300 Suzukis that have had some problems with the fly by wire control system. I've talked to the guys at Bayracer several times and they are still more confident with the 250.
