Doug,
Sorry to see no one has responded!!!! I think most don't realize the Bowrider is such a great fishing boat, with room for 2 people to stand in the bow, and plenty of room in the aft cockpit for fishing too. Then there is the added benefit of being able to seat 3 people in the front cockpit while underway and another 2-4 in the aft cockpit depending on your seating arrangement.

I paid so much more for our bowriders (2), both were basically solid... transom's solid, stringers have no wood, so they were solid, the aft cockpit floor was solid, just one small soft spot in the forward cockpit floor which we easliy fixed. Just mostly cosmetic work done to CJ ... and check her out! With just a 115 Etec, we can move along at almost 40mph ... that's fast enough for us.

Come on someone ... save this classic boat ... the price is definitely right!

Hey how come I did not get offered a pie when I bought your 25 seafari :D .... Doug is a great guy to deal with and that is a great boat he is offering... almost for free. Hows the Seavette coming along?

Maybe post more pictures of her for others to see?
Did you do the transom work?

Re: 1965 19' Bowrider

Thanks for the kind words, Carla & Strick!
Sorry for the delayed response- - been real busy @work!
Chuck, I am sorry I did not offer you a fresh pie, it slipped my mind - but you are certainly welcome to it.
Let me know what you like & I'll send it your way!:D
Carla, I can't believe it either, but it is still here!:D
I know I'll be sorry when its gone, but I am out of room!
I put together a bassboat over the winter for jerkin' around in the bay.
The Seavette is still lookin' at me, waiting. I'm shopping around for a 225 Optimax, maybe one will show up.
Sometimes I think that I'll part with that one too. :(
Thanks for looking out !
-Doug

Hi Doug, Funny, I was just thinking about this thread after, swapping e-mails with 65Bowrider and forgot to ask her if anyone had picked up your boat. That boat already left FL, once. Not to say you can never go home but the left coast is definitely one classic short due to bigshrimpin's "long way in with a little boat behind a littler truck (with a big heart)" :D. Think that trailer would make it to San Diego without trauma? Definitely thinking southern route. No Eisenhower -Johnson Memorial Tunnel (elev. 11,307') for me, been there, done that - thanks.
