Opinions on 25 CC performance and ride??
 

There is a nice 1998 25 CC with a tower, twin Merc 200's for sale near me.

How does this boat perform wrt the 23CC? I have heard some things...

I too have heard and seen some things with the 25. If she is solid and the engines check out it looks pretty good.

Hey, isn't that the boat that was listed here in the for sale section the other day for $29,900 w/no trailer? Looks like it has a very nice full enclosure and crows nest up top.

Yes, the boat is at Parkers, and looks very nice. Very clean and solid, well equipped, new red Imron paint job.

Biggest problem with them was they didn't make enough HP for them when made. The power was duel inline 6 I/O's and with the deadrise and being narrow just not enough HP. 400 should be a great set up and the only comments I heard from a diver buddy was that thing will cut the waves, it does need HP though.

Interesting...I just looked at a 25 Seafari that has dual inline 6 I/Os....the engines are junk, the bottom blistered,
and the transom is gone......perfect... I wondered about the power on that hull. The recommended max I think was 350...after looking at one that seems way too low...
especially with that 25.5 degree center panel deadrise.

The current specs on a new SC 25 list the Max HP at 400, which does not seem like a lot when you look at the size of the boat...

Anyone ridden in a modern 25 CC???

That 25 seafari is for sale locally to me....if anyone wants info on it let me know.
