Boatless no longer!
Weel guys, I finally got a bot! Alas it's not a Seacraft but it was a great deal on a fine boat and I couldn't pass it by. It's a 1983 25 foot Anacapri Holiday model with a 1993 570SP Volvo engine with a 280 outdrive. She rides very well and came with a trailer for $4500. A little TLC and some fishing equipment and she'll be ready for Sailfish season! :D

I have seen from 225 to 275 hp (it has a 4 barrel carb) but nothing definite yet. |
Re: Boatless no longer!
Volvo-Penta lists the 570SP from 1993 at 275 hp. It was 310 hp with fuel injection. This engine/drive system was made from '89-'93.

Re: Boatless no longer!
Thanks my friend, you know you're always welcome to it! I just have to replace the trailer's winch before we put her in the water or we won't be able to get her back on! I think we might have to bring her to your place sometime soon to do some TLC on her before we get some serious miles on her. I'll call you when I return from PR!

Re: Boatless no longer!
Thanks, I was worried about that! I don't know if it is a knockoff or not but it is not a Deep-V, the sales brochure (yep, the previous owner WAS the original owner, he even saw the boat being built!) states it's a Modified V. I estimate she has about 19-20 degrees at the transom but I'm not sure, she rides real nice on a nasty chop though, it was a great day to test a boat, a storm front coming in with some nice chop inshore and some higher waves slightly offshore! We'll see how she does when I get back home and take her out on a longer trip around Miami.
