gluing deck in place

Thanks for all the advice in my previous post. More questions though. Along the topside of my stringers there are piles of the old glue. I plan to glass over the plywood so i will need a glue for glass to glass not wood to glass. I have a bit of expreience with the two-part west sytem so i would liek to stick with it.Is there any filler to add to the west system epoxy so i could glue my deck to my stringers with that? If not, what is the best stuff to use?

If I understand you right then you want to bond the underside of your deck to the tops of the glassed stringers? If so then you want to use Cabosil. It's a fine powder silicate that is dangerous to breath so wear a mask. Mix it with the resin first then add the catalyst. If you are using epoxy then add the hardner after you have mixed it to the desired thickness with the resin. YOu will have to make it really thick before adding the hardner. Once you add the hardner or catalyst it kicks off really fast in the pot so you will have to work fast to get it out of the pot and onto the stringers. Hope this helps some.

I used epoxy thicken with wood flour. The reason I didn't us cabasol is that when it cures, it becomes very hard/brittle. On advice from Beteau.com (shine/etc), I used the wood flour. It would probably work fine either way. I also came back underneath with 2 layers of biaxel 6" glass to cover the filet. It was a little tricky laminating upside down and on an 90 degree, but I was happy with the outcome. I think some of the classic seacraft ride is all the give/slop between the hull, liner, and cap :D. That is one part of these boats I don't like. Strick, what do you do to fasten the hull/liner at the rub rail?
Here is a picture of the top of my stringers from underneath.

I used bolts to hold it together then I riveted the liner to the hull and then I glassed the entire seam from the inside of the boat :)
