Professional Secraft restorers in Florida/

Can anyone reccomend any professional boat repair professionals who do work on seacrafts in florida/ central florida maybe?
What is a fair price for EACH; stringers for transome, for deck.
Much Thanks in advance.
Brian

Brian-
Don Herman is a moderator on Classic SeaCraft and has all the credentials......His web site is www.hermco.net. You will see the rebuilds that he has done. Good luck.

Much thanks, i have looked at the pics of his past jobs. Great work. If I had someone do the work I would want Nidacore or other lifetime/ rotfree synthetic materials used. Whats your opinion on that, please? I sent him an email today via his website.

I believe Hermco has a ceramic-poured transom system that he has been using. I would choose a no-rot material, but for ease and price, properly encapsulated marine ply can still hold it's own as close to a rot free material.

This is true, if pay some one to do this and go thru the truoble It will be a lifetime boat for me, wouldn't want to have to even take the chance and do it again.

I am in central florida and have put a CSY Sceptre together, and helped put a Potter Savage back in service. I put a fair number of updates into mine, if you want to chat or look at them let me know. Hermco/Don down south is probably as knowledable and good as it gets, especially with the center console boats. Most of what I worked around are the Savage/Scepter/Tsunami's. I like fishing out of them better than working on them :D

From what I have read and based on experience Don Hermco has done alot of custom work. For him to restore a seacraft would be right up his alley.

Not only is Don very good, he especially likes SeaCrafts, and I know business has slowed down for him, so not only would giving Don the work be doing a favor for a fellow CSC member, he could also probably get to it fairly soon. Give Don a shout.

viewing his website he appears to be a Sseacraft Pro.
I especially like that extension hed did on that big boat with the tower. Among the other very impressive restorations.
