hmmm that's interesting, last I heard they sold the 24' molds to Topaz and were no longer making Silverhawk boats. Looks like they have a new website. http://www.silverhawkboats.com/

The guy that used to build them used to stop by CSC.com. His name is Mike Witte I think, nice guy. He actually sent me the wiring diagrams for the 24 he used to make. I still need to get those up on the site..

Rich-Thanks for the web link. There was talk from CSC how Topaz scuttled their 24 plans after a short production life. This new owner seems to have re-aquired the molds. According to Don, they work with him and are real close-by. Where are our 28 Silver Hawk pictures??? He said they would have the boat done last fall on a previous post on CSC. Those wiring diagrams would be sweet to have. Briguy just posted about his wiring and I would love to see those diagrams as well...........

Y'all just settle down.... The 28 was put on hold last spring for a short time. The owners after a short run on the 25's wanted to make some changes to the 25 first. The new 25 is very very very sweet. New console, deck and cap with a bunch of new feature to make it a sweet ride. I had the honor of running the blue 25 that you see on the web site in a couple of tournaments this fall. Some of the input for changes was because of this. The new 25 now has a wider console with built in foot rest and more storage. the T-top is now mounted to the top of the console to give you more room to move by the console. The whole package is sweet the first new 25 has been shipped to its new owner in Fla. I'm working on the top for the 25 that will be at the AC Boat show in Feb, I'm not sure if the 28 will be ready by then. I was on the 28 last night going over things for that boat with the owners. I gotta say this will be a sweet rig. Lots of rod storage, transom door, full bracket and options for live well-leaning post combos. The hull is not a stretched 27 but a lenghtend 25 with added free board and a new shear line to the top deck. The best way to describe it would be a 28 ft version of the old 1962 21 Racer hull. I'll see if they would want any pics out, but I think they want it to stay under raps for a bit. But the console for the 28 will be at my shop next Monday to start fab work on the top so I'll put up a few pictures of the console and top set up..

Now that took some arm twisting. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Is the Woodbine Inn still in business? I used to get a pretty mean cheese steak there and they would keep a six of Ballentine Ale in the cooler just for when I'd get by for lunch. (the six would last 2-3 lunches, so don't go there!)

Don IS THE MAN! That 25 does look amazing in the web pictures. The freeboard comment on the 28 makes the lines sound sweet in relation to the '62 21 Racer. They are the best copy of a SeaCraft hull out there........IMHO. Just 1 picture Don :D :D
