todays the day
 
today i am cutting the floor sections up to see whats left and what i have to work with. i feel crazy and anxious all at the same time. Hopefully all goes well and i can have it replaced in a week.

well the floors up and gone. the small spot i had turned into a big spot went from 1ft x 1ft to 2ft x 3ft.i cut back to hard dry balsa and am going to go forward from there. the big area(front casting platform) came up in one big peice and had no balsa woord corning left under it. i had to cut most of the casting area out of the boat. tomarrow i start shaping wood and coating fiberglass. it has been a long day. :o

sorry it took so long on the pics my friend never sent them to me. i just borrowed my g/f camera to take the pictures. the first one was what i thought would be the small area well yall seem what happened. the second is of the front casting area there was no wood core left in most of that area.

the area you cut out on the front foredeck is the exact same cut out i had to do in the exact same place!
