72 20 ft started

Well, I must say Mr Strick along with all you other experts have certainly inspired me. I thought I could wait a year or so before doing anything substantial to mine but a small crack changed that. As I was grinding it down I discovered the transom has already been raised but he was running it on a jack plate for a 20in. After talking to a few glass guys and reading so many post over the past month I decided to go ahead and jump in the barrel. I am going to try and wait on the deck and compartments until next year, that way I will get a good feel for what I want etc. My biggest worry is the transom of course, seems very solid with the exception of the added piece. I just figured since I had to repaint and rework it might as well get the hull in good shape. Any of you local Houstonites that want to come by and give your 2 cents feel free, I'll buy. Hope the pics work on the first try.http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...ftsand1011.jpghttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...ftsand1008.jpghttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...ftsand1005.jpghttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...21-2008-07.jpghttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...-22-1A_023.jpg

what can I do to make the post and pics appear correctly. they are coming up on my screen way to big and horizontally instead of vertically.

I think you may have to resize the pics before you post them?

It takes practice to get the picture thing right.
Before uploading to PhotoBucket, pick the size option & choose "message board".
Then before you add any picture to your CSC post, hit the 'enter' button to make sure your curser is on the left margin...that way the picture will show on the left side.

Re-doing transoms is not necessarily the easiest, but definitely important to do it right ...
After all, the most expensive & most important piece of equipment for getting you home is hanging on that transom.

You are off to a good start, just keep posting pictures.

I guess it would also help if I learned the names of parts on the boat. I meant to say console removed!
I think I will start over and call it 72 20 ft started
