1999 Yami 225 trim seal?

Anyone have any experience replacing one of these? One is leaking and the main Tilt tube looks a little moist so may need replacing in near future. Can these caps be removed with a hammer and punch? Or where can I purchase a Yamaha Spanner wrench? The Yami dealer wont sell one.
Any help would be great I want to get my Savage Wet real soon!

It's easy to make a spanner - just get some 1" x 1/8" flat steel stock and machine screws. Select screw diameter to fit holes in top of cylinder. Cut/grind with Dremel tool a semicircular notch on edge of 2 pieces near one end to clear piston rod, depth = 1/2 rod dia.; connect the 2 pieces near one end with a 2" long piece of stock & screws. Drill screw holes next to notch on centerline of notch for screws/pins to fit in cap, distance from edge as appropriate for diameter on holes in cylinder cap. Suggest tapping these holes and maybe using a locking nut on top side snugged up against stock to strengthen and lock screw at desired depth; adjust depth to match hole depth in cap. This should do the job, although you'll probably have to remove cyl from motor for access.
