Question on 1979 20Ft cc
 

I am in the middle of painting and upgrading my 1979 20. I not sure what you call this part but here goes. The part shields the motor. IT is made fiberglass and prevents sea water from entering the boat from the transom. I would like to remove that peace and put in something more up to date. I have seen some Pic's. of some people's boats on this web site that have changed this part and have gone with something a lot more modern. I guess the question is can you buy this part prefab. Or is this something that my fiberglass man is going to have to make? Thanks any help is appreciated. ZW

my 79 has the same thing i am eaving it off and open. Im sure you will have to have that custom made!
