What's it worth?
What is a 1988 seacraft worth? No motor, no trailer, no console? Perfect condition otherwise!

Re: What's it worth?
Roughly how long does it appear to be?

Re: What's it worth?
I forgot, 19 center console.

Re: What's it worth?
Maybe $1-2K depending on market and time of year. BTW, it would be either an 18' CC or a 20' CC. They did not make at 19' in '88.

Re: What's it worth?
$1K. The 20' is actually 19'8". If it's an OB with no console obstruction, and you measure from nose to the transom engine mount center instead of a line parallel with the hull cap, a straight tape'll measure 19'6" because of the transom angle.
My Seafari is supposedly 19'8", and when re-powering a couple of months ago, we backed it up to a wall, then measured from the wall to a plumb dropped from the nose, which gave us a measurement of 19'5 1/2". Before mounting the 90 Opti, we then weighed the boat and the trailer, then the trailer separately, and got a hull weight with no fuel of 1966 lbs, including seats and batteries and CG equip. I did all this to try to get better rates on insurance having exact measurements and weight. It didn't help my rates, and I spent $10 to weigh the trailer twice :( |
Re: What's it worth?
A 1988 20 foot seacraft would measure 20 feet 5 inches. Post up some pics of the hull and we can give you a better idea. Also are there any soft spots on the deck? how about the transom?
