Daining pop-ups?

Seems common to install a pop-cleat or cleats and pop-up bow light. I have searched, read plenty, think I know which bits I want and which you all have used. What I haven't found is anything about draining these. Seems Accon has provisions for a cup and drain tube type configuration. What are you all doing for this? Is it okay to just let them drain (I assume it would be minimal amount of water) into the anchor locker? Again, what are all of you who are running these doing?

Thanks,
Evan.

Re: Daining pop-ups?

I have flush mount cleats im going to install, I am not to worried about water getting in there myself I am going to make sure that the exposed wood is treated properly before i put them in. My flush mount nav. light does have a cup and stubbed out for a drain tube which I probably will attach a tube to and run to somewhere???

My bow light on the 20 drains into the anchor locker which has a drain into the bilge. Did not install the cup because it would not fit.... I had limited space.
