Help, need steering part(s)

I bought a used 5345 center steering cylinder with all the hardware, but unfortunatly, I didn't look close. The rod that goes through the motor tube is 9" instead of 12", and the connecting brackets are 1.5" too narrow. The cylinder seems to be fine, but I can't mount it with these brackets and cylinders. Does anyone have an old center link laying around, I just need the rod and end brackets.
Thanks.

It appears I am not going to be able to find the rod and brackets separately, I can buy them, but they are VERY expensive. Does anyone have a use SeaStar 5345 laying around with the brackets/rod/linkage for Mercury?
Thanks,
