Non Skid prep

What's the best method to strip the wax off nonskip for painting. I have scrubed and power sprayed. I don't have access to soda blasting anymore.

Dewaxer. Petit makes what they call Fiberglass Dewaxer or Automotive paint supply store will have a pre paint solvent wash and cleaner.
