Not even close, the bridge is a little over 1/4 mile North.

Oldbull/Sleeper-Hey, it is good to have you back at CSC. The 1971 20 is in good hands........ A different ride than your old Sceptre............

Who cares about what's below the waterline....Many fond memories were made above it. Here are a few.

After, the bridge is going side by side with the old one. Then when the state has enough $$ the old one comes down, I figure about 2035.

I am somewhat surprised at the ride quality to be honest. It rides very well, better than I expected for an under 2000# boat. The running angle is almost flat with no need for tabs other than wind/sea adjustment side to side. As flat as it rides it still remains pretty dry. Mark had just installed a nice "phone booth" 3 sided enclosure and it gets very little spray droplets on it even in a wind blown chop. I didn't think I would like the enclosure up but I do. So far I have nothing bad to say about this boat, Mark did a nice job with his planning and the project came out real nice. With diesel at $4.89 a gallon the Carolina won't be catching as many Stripers this year and the SC will see a lot of service. Very economical to run and with the 75 gallon tank I can fish her many trips before pulling out for a gas station re-fill.

I just got some photos from OldBull of striped bass that fell victim to this boat. I'm really happy to see it getting used rather than sitting on a mooring collecting algae. Bent rods and blood-on-deck, I'm very pleased this boat continues on as I would have used it :)
