1979 23SF Twin 225's
Boat just went in yesterday.........still working on the winshield, bimini, ect.....Is it really ever done??? :D Notes on the boat: Originally one of 6 jackshafted diesels, 4 seperate gas tanks totalling 200 gallons(may be too little considering the motors :o)100 gallons where the Volvo sat and 2 saddle tanks below deck, extra fish box custom built behind original bow storage step, 3 inch drain scuppers that where routed through the original exaust baffles (I found my 3 inch drain plugs in the plumbing section @ Ace hardware), jackplates on both motors

Danny,
Great to see the rig finally in the water. i know that it has been a long time coming. You are right about the never ending project list. I took care of a bunch of things over the winter, and came up with a new list after putting her back in the water several weeks ago. With twin 200's and a t top I can get up to about 58 MPH. I am guessing that you should hit the low to mid 60's. What do you think? Peter |

Nice color combo Danny! I like that contrasting color insert in the rub rail - is that stainless or white rubber? Hard to tell in the bright sun! Congratulations on finally getting her splashed! Denny

I think that may be my dream machine, I know you may not be able to get away without a T-top in the FL sun but it really looks great without one, real slick.
I know you may of told us before but what is the history behind your 23? |
