I would guess Brian is trying to help her out and his pictures got in there.

Re: 1963 Seacraft 22'
Strange, I guess they like the pics I took when I was looking at the boat. I didn't know they posted this, however I am ok with it. The rebuilt transom is of my SC 21, under restoration.

Re: 1963 Seacraft 22'
I just purchased the boat today. Can anyone recommend a good boatyard in the St. Augustine area to do some of the fiberglass work and derig the boat for shipping to Hawaii?

Congrats on your new boat!
Hermco (CSC member) does great work in Jensen Beach, on Fla east coast. You've just joined a group of 4 now owning/fixing up classic 21' SeaCrafts ... welcome! What are your plans for her? |
Re: 1963 Seacraft 22'
Hi Bowrider,
I'm just going to have some fun with it. I plan to rebuild as an outboard and use twin 140 hp Suzukis. I'm really looking forward to comparing it to my modified 25' Seafari in the rough Hawaiian channels. Right now, I haven't come across any other boat of its size that compares with its seakeeping and seakindliness. I'll call HERMCO this morning to see if they can do the work on the boat. Thanks for the recommendation. |
Re: 1963 Seacraft 22'
Just out of curiosity what was the serial number on the boat?
|
Re: 1963 Seacraft 22'
I don't have the serial number yet. It is enroute with the registration papers.
