The Silver Hawk is what I think of as an "evolved" 23' SeaCraft. Nice boats as far as I can tell.

Exactly!

When S/C went out the 23 line was purchased and stretched into the 24 silverhawk.

There are alot of boats out there that took the seacraft hull and played around with it. There is a place on the Cape that did this with a sceptre hull its called cape cod marine. They made a few boats to order but then sold the hull to albin, now its albins 26 CC. Sad thing is albin went belly up over here. :(

This boat was made after Sea Craft went OUT in the late 80's and then stretched into the 24. Then was sold to Topaz who tried to market it for a few years which didn't work out, especially with a fully rigged boat ( electronics) with twins on the back end for 120K.

From what I understand Silver Hawk is back in production for the last year or so out of Jersey I think. :D

Even though it's a 96 hull it's well maintained and still turns a lot of heads especially from newer Sea Craft ownwers who always throw a friendly wave.

Great boat with a nice entry and dry..plus the ceramnic head for the wife girl/friend or both ;)

Our our Don B does a lot of t top work for them, as well as fished their boats in some ASA tourney's.

That is one of the nicer things about this boat is the fiberglass hardtop, adds a bit more weight but don't have to worry about canvas.

I do have the helm area enclosed with canvas..but that's it. :D ;)
