Marine Liquidators Ft. Pierce

Has anybody shopped at Marine Liquidators? Opinions? Selection? How are the prices?

Big candy shop! Know prices b4 going. Some good , some not so much. Call them and ask what`s in stock.
I`m looking for a couple of gimbals to flat mount under my pedestal seats. If you see a couple of decent ones I`ll take a pair if under 50 clams.
Thx,
GFS

You can probably find what you need there, but it will could very well cost you more than you would have paid otherwise. With the cost of gas, call before going, it's off the beaten path quite a ways.

It strikes me as a place that will go out of business one day with a lot of inventory to liquidate (which they will probably just sell to another business).

My 2 cents.

i think they buy stuff leftover from manufactors for boat hardware, like doors made specfially for 2002 makos and such
and stuff the have defects that cant be used on new boats

Years ago, they used to be fair priced, after they moved down the road, they got expensive. I got raped pretty good by them trying to match up some steering knuckles and hardware. They priced it at 20% off list price. I get better than that for new stuff through Lewis and Port Supply. The problem was I was matching stuff up, and couldn't do it out of a catalog. BTW, this was used stuff too :D.

They are good at knowing what they have, and they know boats/gear, but for me, they will always be the LAST option.

The place in Daytona is ok. Better in price, not so big in selection. There is also Flounder Pounders in Port Canaveral. He is close to Daytona in price, but once again, not as big in selection.
