Spare Marine Plywood? (Tampa)

Hey all...I just took out the console yesterday...working my way towards the tank (assuming there is still one in there). Anyway, the wood shelf in the console looks like it will need a new piece of plywood. The teak side rails and front trim are great though. I guess I'll just replace it with another piece of marine ply, coated with resin? Any other thoughts?

This is a piece of 5/8", 19" x 36-1/2". I'm not using wood anywhere else, so I would hate to buy a whole 4' x 8' sheet for this. Anyone in the Tampa, FL area have something leftover? I'd be willing to pay a fair price.

No need for marine. Really old weathered ply will soak up more sealer and I`m sure you have a cane panel.

Replaced my plywood with 1/2" starboard. Worked great.

I agree - don't think you marine for that

Cool. Thanks guys. I'm in construction. I can get regular plywood very easily.

Question though: why use marine ply at all if will be sealed anyways...what is the difference between marine ply and regular ply???
