Re: e-tec 225

I run a 1998 CC with a bracket and a 225 etech. The boat has trim tabs and a t-top. I am verry happy with the set up and have had no issues with it. I top out around 40mph fairly well loaded.

I can tell you that when it is time to re-power I will go back to the e-tec but I will go for a 300hp just to get a little more power.

I know someone that just put a 300 ETEC on a 23 Sceptre - he is really happy with the motor and has plenty of power.

Our SeaCraft buddies at American Marine in Tarpon Springs have a 200 and 225 07 in 25" shafts - good prices and he will ship and do a walkthrough for install.
