Got the boat without a deck or transom. so I decided to pop off the cap and remove what was left of the inner liner.

Wow, what a project. Measure your top cap and put some "tie rods" across the hull to keep it from springing. Strick had a problem with his 20 project and I saw some when I removed the top cap on my 23 Sceptre. Keep posting pictures.

:D Got to luv those projects....what is the plan for putting her back together? Inner Liner? Cap re-use? Raised forward deck?

Re: project 23

I plan on doing a flat deck all the way. That way i can have a huge kill box in deck from where the front fuel tank bulkhead is to the bow. Also will be raising the entire deck about 3 or 4 inches. As far as the top cap I have already reattached it. I waterleveled the hull to ensure that the flimsy sides werent warped when the top was reglued. I have also cut and dry fitted my transom boards and plan on having it done this week. Going with a full transom and twin engine bracket.

Why :D That just lowers your Gunnel Height which will kill your knees. The 23' doesn't have "Self Bail / Wet Feet" issues like the 20'.

BTW: Welcome to the CSC Clan. Be sure to use the search option to get many questions answered. good Luck with your project.

Have you made any more progress?
I am curious how the flat deck came out?
