Dash layout
 
Need your input.

Here's the existing dash (tach, a couple gauges and cutout where sounder used to be :

New layout: Tach, fuel, water pressure, GPS (above the helm), sounder (to the right) and VHF under it (mic will mount to the right of sounder)
Wheel is being changed from 15" to 13+1/2".

It looks like you have more room than I did but I also made a (semi) dry storage compartment

Don't forget the compass . . . for when the GPS dies! (Most experienced boaters have learned to allow for Murphy!) Also handy for taking bearings if you get the flat card type! Looks like you have a good spot just below windshield.

Compass and GPS antenna will be mounted on top the console.
I learned with a compass and normally run by it once I have my bearing.
This is an 18 BTW.
