Console Cover Prices

Hi guys, how much do you think a Sunbrella Console cover for a 20 Master Angler would cost. My console is 38 inches wide, 40 high, and 40 inches long. I was quoted $ 400 and $ 475 for the work, which I think is a bit steep. Just curious.

Re: Console Cover Prices

I got prices from $350 to $450 and decided to try my hand at it on my wife's sewing machine. You can get the material on the net if you look around for less than the $20 a yard most places get for it.
I made a template from a long roll of paper, one from fore to aft and one for each side.
Cut out the three panels, pinned it together, sewed it and
presto! Didn't even break the machine, the stuff sews easy.
get some heavy duty thread.
Looks like a pro did it, IIDSSM.
:D
Good luck!

LOL, now you got me thinking ! It does seem easy enough to do hence my surprise at the prices. I might just try and do what you said. And here I though the home economics class I was forced to take in middle school was useless ! lol
