Maybe someone can trace a pattern for you. I don't believe I have the same model boat, or I would be happy to do the favor.

ps - I am not sure from your description exactly what panel you are looking for. Is it the companion way hatch on a 23' Scepter, or the instument or glove box panel on a Scepter,Tsunami or what. Someone who might help might have the same confusion.

The ones I need are the two glovebox / gauge shields - depending on the model...

SeacraftSavage,

OK, now we're getting somewhere. You need a pattern of the plexiglas instrument gauge panel and the glove compartment door from a Savage model seacraft. I know there are fellow owners of savages on the forum, and am sure one of them will chime in. The only question I can think of is what year is your boat, so that someone can be resonably sure that he/she will be giving you the correct pattern in case there were changes made over the years of manufacture.

Another thought is that you take this opportunity to customize the panels. I plan to do it when I get to that point. I have purchased a FloScan fuel gage and would like to rearrange the instrument layout in general. Also, these days most everyone is using a GPS/Plotter as primary navigation purposes. Because of this, I thought it might be an idea to switch to a panel mounted compass like you would find in an aircraft instument panel, thus clearing the top of the instrument "pod" for mounting a GPS/Plotter. Heck, I might even modify the the entire instrument area and extend it up and flush mount every thing on an single enlarged panel.

Good luck.

BigLew-
Thanks for the reply... my Savage is a CC and I can only imagine that my 1977 hull came with 2 glove boxes with the plexiglas shields around the perimeter. If I'm not mistaken, the Sceptre has a glovebox on the port side and a gauge pod in the starboard one...

Re: Plexiglas shields

I can help you with this. What do you need in way of a pattern? Would tracing the shield on to paper be good enough?

Cheers,
Bob

Bob-
I think that would work, I'm envisioning tracing the front, side and top views onto paper - do you have a fax ?
-thanks, Ralph

No fax. (I can barely use a computer!!) PM me your address and I'll be happy to mail it to you.

Cheers,
Bob
PS Do you have any pictures of your cuddy hatch? Mine's not original and leaks bad. I'd like to make it right again.
