Anybody been to this place???

Re: Anybody been to this place???
They’ve got a lot of stuff, and I do mean a LOT.
As far as their prices, some of their stuff is priced higher than new, some equal, and some lower. As far as the employee’s knowledge of what they have, you better go find it yourself. I was in Ft. Pierce and stopped by for a browse. I needed a trim switch, the one that fits in the lower cowling on a Merc. I asked a couple of guys and they said they didn’t have one. I browsed around and found a brand new one still in the packaging for $7. It’s over $50 from Merc. The key is to not be in a hurry and to know what the item you’re looking at would cost elsewhere. There’s also Surplus Unlimited, in Daytona. They’re on ISW Blvd just west of MLK. They don’t have the selection MC has, but their prices and attitude are better. Talk to Jack. Hope this helps. Trey |
Re: Anybody been to this place???
Been there...advice I have heard from others...know what you want before you get there and know what you should pay for it. Lots of items may not be clearly marked. Great for Consoles and Fuel Tanks!
Definately can spend an afternoon in that place! |
Re: Anybody been to this place???
Years ago before they moved, they had good prices on stuff.
Over the last couple of years, Lewis Marine and Port Supply can beat just about anything they have, including shipping. The last trip I made in there was my last trip in there. If it is an odd part, and you need it, they are a good place to "finish" looking. Gas tanks are still a good deal if you can find what you need. |

Re: Anybody been to this place???
does anyone know what the fuel tank prices are? I paid $3.50/gallon in 2004 for an aluminum tank. I'm looking for a pair of poly tanks.
