My old 73 Seacraft classic is starting to sit a little lower in the water than it has the past 20 yrs...It has the old i/o merc.and is the 23 ft model......If its is taking on water in the foam what do I do to get it fixed????Help!!!!

Welcome,
Get a moisture meter and check where ever you can reach for moisture. Probably the transom is wet. Is it sitting lower in the back or the front? Stringers may be wet too, also check the hatches, they can add quite a bit of weight.

She is setting low in the back and is stock with the merc. i/o 302 ford setup.Where would I try to get the moisture reading????maybe by removing a screw or bolt in the transom and trying to check for water there.Where would I get a moisture meter????Sparky
