Looking fo a bow Plaque
 

Sorry about earlier, posted in the wrong thread, I am looking for the small bow plaque, it's for a 1970 20cc, the one that was there was made out of zimac, it is toast, would like one out of chrome or SS, any ideas? trying in get one made in FT Laud, not having any luck.

You might check with some chrome plating shops - they deal with pitted Zamak all the time when re-plating old classic car stuff, so they know how to deal with it. I believe they grind out the pits with a dremel tool, fill with solder, and then grind smooth. It ain't cheap though!

Carla's SS SeaCraft Classic logos at Moesly SeaCraft look nice and would probably be cheaper!

I don't know about you, but mine may as well have been a zinc anode considering what is left to it. I would be curious to know if Marine Connection Liquidators had anything like that. I just emailed them to find out.

I have one of Carla's SS logos and I find it a bit big to put in that location. If you ever find somebody to make some of the little plaques and they have to make a run of them, let me know and I will pitch in some $$.
