How much should I pay?
The SeaCraft I am looking at is either a 68 or 69 hull. The current owner has removed everything except the floor. He has started some of the minor fiberglass work but it still need a lot of work to bring it up to standard. The trailer is brand new. Has only seen the water once. The motor is a 1990 Merc 200 that was running when the boat was being used.
I was thinking in today's market $1200 tops. Am I completely off? |

What is the size? 27’ – 18’
If the trailer is new that’s worth $1,500 for a single and a triple axel is worth 4-5 grand. “fuzzy detailes” FellowShip …………………………. Just for the Grins :D Official Antique Classic SeaCraft Owner |

So yeah, $1200 sounds right as a ballpark figure. |
Re: How much should I pay?
I am sorry about the fuzzy details. It is a 20ft center console. I do have a 140 4stroke suzuki that I would like to hang on the back, so I am not too concerned about the motor.

Re: How much should I pay?
If it helps any...i bought my "Project Hull" for only $750 w/o trailer and w/o a motor... so If it were me i would say $1200 sounds fair, not having seen the boat.

Re: How much should I pay?
The motor is probably worth close $1200 . . . assuming you have 120 - 125 psi in all 6 cylinders.

Value is in the minds of the beholder. One persons junk is another’s treasure. For me if you got it for $1,200 you stole it.
I treasure SeaCrafts and think this one is worth $2,000 to poss $3,000. A lot of the de construction work is done. FellowShip ……………………… Just for the Grins :D Official Antique Classic SeaCraft Owner |
