1981 25' ??

Does any one have any information on a 1981 25" CC inboard? There is one listed locally to me. The listing says 24'8" center console with 454 inboard with tunnel hull? I have not been able to find anything on the internet or this web site about them? There is also a 28" CC with twin inboard diesels but that is to big for me. So any help and ideas what there are like would be greatly appreciated!

If you are talking about the one on Craig's List on the right in the picture it is a 23

I'll bet he's including the length of the bow anchor roller/pulpit to make it longer :D

that is the one!
I didnt think about that but i guess if you measure the pulpit that would be almost 25' ! I looked and looked through all the literature and specs and couldn't find anything in 25' Thanks!! I am going to try and go look at it this afternoon. I am pretty familiar with inboards, I have a nautique with a 351 but is there things I should look for on this model? Also what is the differences in the hull with and inboard 23' and the outboards?

The only difference in the hull is the prop tunnel. Look for the usual problems in any old boat, soft spots in the deck and cap, leaky fuel tank and bad wiring.

That one has been on there a couple of times. Looks like a pretty nice boat. Wish I know more about diesels!!

Tunnel drives are notoriously poor performers when going astern! Be sure to get a sample of how it behaves going as ;)tern. Most of my experience is with a single engine version. However, I realize that duals are much better than single drives in terms of manuverability but tunnels are so inefficient when going astern, I still would have my doubts!

Just my 2 cents, better safe than sorry. ;) ;)
