Hamilton marine carries several commercial aluminum hatches.The same as ones on Lobster boats etc.I looked at a few,but they were very expensive,and a little too industrial for me.
Most are made by Bomar."geesh" $400.00 to $1000.00,that's way out of my league.

thanks john, found what i need there, guess ill start saving pennies for that too now, dont worry its for the sailboat not the seacraft
