You appreciate the boat, an original near mint hull that has never required restoration. I haven't seen any others on the market and am wondering why I am even considering a new Regulator. Are you interested?

Sorry Finlaw, not in the market at this time, just wanted to comment on a beautiful boat. A new Regulator, eh? IMO, I'd consider keeping the SC and re-powering. Even if you had to replace the transom, you're still ahead of the game with a boat in the same class.

Scott, I'm with ya on keeping the Seacraft over the Regulator...I fished a 26 in S.Fl. and I beleive half of my kidney's are still 40 miles off the beach.

Yeah Keep this one and while your at it, try and get a nice T Top for it. Thats all this boat needs. :)

When I ordered the boat new in 1985, I didn't want a T-top even though it was only a $1500 option. The transom is solid as new like the rest of the boat. I can't believe this rig with its $6,000 paint job isn't worth the asking price.

it's worth the price but keep in mind that times are tough and it will take a little while but it should go soon also some people may be leary of the motor i have 2 from that era and they are still going strong what about electronics?
