New SeaCraft
 

Well after lurking on this site for quite some time as a 'former' SeaCraft owner I'm happy to say that thanks to another forum member our family is back in a SeaCraft again.

My father and I just got back from a marathon trip from Sandy Hook, NJ to South Carolina to pick up a 1979 20 SF that had been restored by Wildfire in Stuart.

In the 90s my father and I put a lot of work into our previous SeaCraft, a 1976 MA, but after not using it for several years, decided to sell it to a family member.

After deciding to get back into a center console there was no decision to make on what builder to get being SeaCraft fans, just a matter of finding the right boat.

Just need to paint the bottom to match the boot stripe and we'll be good to go to catch some big stripers.

Men must have their toys and CSC men must have their Seacrafts! Welcome "back" to the club- you never really left! Congrats on the new addition. Now go make some memories!

I'll let you know once I get it out on the water... Obviously from the naked eye, lower gunnels, bigger casting platform, and the different transom config. Bigger motor in this one, 150 vs. 130, Bigger fuel tank, 75 vs. 48, etc. It will definitely ride a little different than my tin boat!

Looks great guys, nice boat! Any chance that 150hp will have enough power to drag a 190D out past Sandy Hook to the dumping grounds?

Ha ha from what I hear it sounds like once you are done with that car it might be a better tow vehicle than the yukon...

Got the boat registered in this state and had the bottom painted. Looking good.

Looks really sweet! Can't see any bridges. Shrewsbury or Red Bank Rivers? I've never had my SC home but thats gotta be a great ride for the area. Good Luck with the Stripers! Part II.
