paging father frank!!! i have sinned

Father i have sinned
long story short me and my brother were messing around on our ex-sailboat 19' skiff with a 1988 15hp mariner on the back. not going to go in to the details for fear of ridicule and embarrassment but the engine fell off the boat while it was running.

fell in brackish water, was about 6 ft under for maybe 10 minutes, felt like forever, as soon as we got it on the dock i pulled the plugs out and threw 2 stroke oil in the cylinders. got it home and i cleaned out the carb got all the water out, and gave the engine a freshwater rinse and light coat of wd-40. got it all reassembeled and with the plugs back in she still turns over smooth, but im not getting a spark on either cylinder... anyways i have ton of questions and i want to know if im going about this right.

Fr Frank, please call me at 561-801-6470, any time tonight is fine, no such thing as too late, altough i know tommorrow is a big day for you

I won't ask how.

I'm glad it's running for you. Most motors suffer catastrophic internal damage when submerged while running.
