Sandy Hook Stripers
Took the new SeaCraft out for the first fishing trip this morning down the beach near Sandy Hook, NJ.
Livelined bunker were the ticket for multiple Striped Bass up to 40lbs. We were back to the barn by 9am. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning. First fish on the new boat http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P5300060.jpg Hooked up http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P5300065.jpg Another nice fish http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P5300070.jpg An absolute cow http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P5300071.jpg http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P5300072.jpg |

All in all, for the first trip on the new to us boat it was great. I went 6 for 7 I think with no bluefish. Plenty of guys were catching, but it seemed that those of us that were using weight to get the bunker down were having the most success. |
