75 20SF
 

Hello All,

After looking for the right boat for several months I came across this beautiful 1975 20SF still in the possession of the original owner. Made a great friend and bought a great boat!

It's got a brand new T-Top on it and a 2003 Yamaha 150 VMax with 15 original hours on it. Can't wait to get it in the water and enjoy with my family!

Great looking SeaCraft...love the spray rails..what material are they??? and the platforms. Keep us posted after your water test.

Thanks Fellas! The rails are made of fiberglass according to the previous owner, the platforms are metal -- forgot to ask what type. We'll be putting her in the water this weekend though -- can't wait!

Alright!! Put in her in the water the last two weekends -- once in the Caloosahatchee River and once in the Gulf.

On the river we had a great time just cruising and looking around. Stretched her out on the way in, the river was like glass and we sustained 48 mph as long as we wanted -- with my wife, my 9 year old daughter, 5 year old son, and about half a tank of fuel I didn't think that was too bad!

On the Gulf we, again, had a great time just cruising and checking out the huge houses on the beaches of Naples. The water was mostly pretty calm but did get a little choppy as it got later in the day. I was very impressed with how great this boat rides and handled some of the rougher water -- still getting used to the left-hand throttle though :)

Overall we've really enjoyed the boat and are looking forward to the next time out. I just bought a Garmin 545s and have been reading up on the install and hope to have that done before we go!
