mine seems well built heavy and strong before tracker lightened things up

Re: 1987 23' CC, Any Input?

I just finsihed my rebuild on an 87'. When I bought it in Jan. 09', the only thing wrong of course transom rot, and a few bad spots in the floor where the old t top was mounted. We enclosed the tran. and raised the floor. I cut open the stringers, cut out some foam to chek it out- it was good. Even the orig. fuel tank was in good shape, it has some type of coating on it, preassured it up to 3.5 PSI and held with no problems. I'm very pleased with it.
