Best way to remove cockpit drain tubes on 23SF?
 
WHAT IS THE BEST AND(0R) EASIEST WAY TO REMOVE THE REAR BRASS DRAIN TUBES ON A 23SF? HAMMER/CHISEL, DRILL ?

If they are in there really good, drive a screwdriver down one of the sides sometimes you can drive them straight through (it help if you grind the lip off the side you start on), if that won't get it done, try to drive it down the other side...then grab with vice grips and pull/push out. Worked for me, we replaced all 5.

When putting the new one it don't leave too much extra lip, it takes so much more torque to flange them out if you do. maybe a little over 1/8th of an inch. 1/4 is way too much.

I just popped mine out this way yesterday. I cleaned up the block and flanged the new ones in...all in a bed of 5200. I was a pretty quick job to do.
